Federal Government announces $1.9 million grant for Fortem Australia
The Federal Government has announced a $1.9 million grant over two years for Fortem Australia to improve health and wellbeing of emergency service workers and meet the needs of individuals and families from early intervention to crisis support.
Established by the co-founders of Soldier On John Bale & Dr Danielle Clout, Fortem Australia will be Australia’s only not-for-profit community organisation specifically designed to support Australia’s national security and first responder community and their families.
“Each day, the men and women in our national security and first responder community answer the call and put themselves on the line to protect our way of life and help us. It is time – that as a community – we step up and support those who support us and keep us safe,” said John Bale, Co- Founder of Fortem.
CMAX Advisory is proud to support Fortem Australia as founding partner; an extension of our firm’s corporate social responsibility program.
“John Bale’s new charity Fortem Australia will meet an incredible mission to support the mental health and wellbeing of Australia’s national security and first responder’s community. I am honoured to join the Board of Directors, and am incredibly proud of that CMAX Advisory will continue to support John as founding partner of Fortem Australia.” Said Tara Taubenschlag, CMAX Advisory’s Managing Director.
Fortem is due to officially launch its services on 10 October 2019.
