Fortem Australia was established in 2019 to support the health and wellbeing of national security and emergency service community, current, ex-serving and volunteer.
Fortem is Australia’s only not-for-profit community organisation specifically designed to support the county’s national security and first responder community and their families.

CMAX Advisory supported the launch of Fortem’s pilot program for national security and law enforcement community on 10 October 2019. This pilot program is the result of a $1.88 million grant awarded to Fortem in March 2019 by Minister for Home Affairs Peter Dutton, under the Commonwealth’s Proceeds of Crime Act. In June 2020, federal Minister for Agriculture, Drought and Emergency Management, David Littleproud, announced Fortem would receive funding to help further its vital work supporting the mental health and wellbeing of professional and volunteer first-responders and their families impacted by devastating 2019-20 bushfires.
