In October 2019, CMAX Advisory facilitated the opening of Quickstep’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bankstown by Prime Minister Scott Morrison, along with the Minister for Defence Industry, Melissa Price. The new facility manufactures composite housings for the F-35’s countermeasure flares, which form an essential part of the aircraft’s defensive capability to protect pilots. It also backs the federal government’s aim of developing a domestic defence industry.
In April 2019, CMAX Advisory facilitated an industry visit to Quickstep’s Bankstown facility by then-Minister for Defence the Hon Christopher Pyne MP.
